BRIEF HISTORY

The vision of Fire Transformation Ministries International was conceived by Rev. Amos G. Bah in 1995. By then, Rev. Bah was schooling at a Bible College in Liberia. Two years after conception of the vision, the ministry was born in Matadi Estate – Monrovia, Liberia. Notably, the birth of the ministry coincided with a Holy Ghost power-packed crusade, which won hundreds of souls unto Christ and healed several others with different types of physical, spiritual and psychological deformities.

Consequently, in December 1997, the Dominion Praise Chapel (Liberia) of the Fire Transformation Ministries International was established with one hundred (100) members, many of whom were new converts unto Jesus Christ. Two solid years after the establishment of the Dominion Praise Chapel, coupled with his tireless efforts in raising mature disciples for Christ, Rev. Bah received divine instructions from God to undertake other assignments outside.

Accordingly, with the apostolic and prophetic grace upon the life of Rev. Bah, he set out on God’s mandate. In the year 2000, Rev. Bah touched down on the shores of the Republic of Ghana and managed to reach home among fellow Liberians at the Buduburam Refugee Camp. At the camp of a little over 43,000 residents, Rev. Bah ministered especially to the hopeless, afflicted, the lost and down-hearted who afterwards experienced and testified of the tremendous impact God’s Word had had in their plights.

Because of compassion for the lost souls and God’s people, Rev. Bah finally moved along with his family and settled down among his people at the camp. After a year of series of evangelistic activities, crusades, revivals, training, seminars, etc, Dominion Praise Chapel (Ghana) was established. That was on May 10, 2002 with the total membership of seven hundred persons.

The vision of F.T.M.I. is global in approach. One of Dr. Bah's pastors from the refugees camp in Ghana was privilege to travel to America, he was commissioned to start the branch of the ministry in Philadelphia. Right now to the glory of God the fellowship has begun since last year 2004. If the servant of God can get the maximum support, the vision of F.T.M.I. will spread faster in Liberia the founder's home country, Africa, America, Europe, Asia and the entire world.

The Fire Transformation Ministry International is locally supported from tithes and offering as well as personal contributions from Rev. Bah’s friends that believe in his ministry. Although the support is minimal, as God’s steward, the man of God ably manages whatsoever the good Lord lays in his hands.
